What the desk keeps, and why.
This notice explains what personal information Lucid Compass collects when you read or join the member track, how we use it, and how long we keep it. We operate from Seoul and handle your data in line with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea.
What we collect
If you contact the desk, we keep your name, email, the topic you named, and your message — only what you typed into the form. If you subscribe to the shelf list, we keep your email. If you join the member track, we also keep your exercise submissions so a reviewer can grade them.
How we use it
To reply to your question, to send the occasional shelf-list dispatch, and to grade member-track exercises. We do not build a profile of your reading, we do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept for one year after the last reply and then deleted. Shelf-list emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Member-track submissions are kept for the life of your enrolment plus one year.
Your rights
You may ask the desk for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will act on a verifiable request within ten working days.
Children
The reading room is written for working engineers and is not directed at children under 14. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
