A reading room, not a feed.

Lucid Compass began on a long evening when one of us tried to explain Sealevel to a new engineer and ended up pasting five links from five different repos into a chat. The links were correct. The experience was not. We thought a careful reader deserved a bound volume instead of a pile of loose pages.

We are a small editorial team in Seoul. We read the client source, the validator posts, and the proposals, and we rewrite what we find into notes a builder can finish in a sitting. Every deep dive is reviewed by a second writer before it goes on the shelf, and the glossary is kept current with each release.

What we will not do

We will not chase every announcement. We will not write a note we cannot stand behind six months from now. When the runtime changes, we update the volume in place and date the change at the bottom of the page, so a returning reader can see what moved.

How the shelf is ordered

The shelf follows the order a working validator operator would hand the material to a new engineer: runtime first, accounts next, economics last. Tracks assemble the same notes into a guided sequence with a stated outcome, so a reader who wants a path rather than a reference can follow one.
